We are back! We enjoyed our previous hosting experience with Vrbo. After a period of time that we enjoyed repeat customers, we are back to opening up to the Vrbo site to host again.
This executive home is situated on just over an acre of gently sloping land in the serene western hills of Sonoma wine country and just five miles from the Sonoma Plaza. The contemporary house of 2,500+ square feet, draws on influences from both modern and classic California design and provides an exceptional setting for a relaxing wine country living experience.
We are looking for a minimum 2 month flexible stay starting September, through Nov 7th 2026, and again for January-March 2027, while the owner is traveling. This all-inclusive monthly rate of $10,000/month, includes bi-weekly cleaning, all utilities (up to $200/month for PG&E-there are solar panels, up to $100- a month for water, and up to $200 for propane heating), and biweekly gardener. Rental also includes a paid membership at the private club for Sept-October 2026, in this community (an easy two block walk) which includes a large pool, tennis, pickle ball and bocce ball courts and social events at the Club House. Professional cleaning twice a month is required, during your stay, plus there is a $500 end of stay cleaning fee, which is added to the rental cost.
All pet requests will be reviewed prior to acceptance and a pet fee. This is a non-smoking property.
The house is divided into two sections. The first is a long glass hallway that offers a home for art and travel photo gallery space and leads to the master bedroom on the left and two additional guest bedrooms on the right of the hallway. Each room provides peaceful views of the hills or rose garden. The spacious master suite with a king bed, a double sink master bath with a large walk-in glass shower and heated floors. The lovely king guest bedroom has a fifty-five” widescreen mounted TV. The third bright and airy queen bedroom has a pleasant view of the hills. There is also an elegant guest bathroom that will pamper visiting friends and family.
The second section, the vast open living space “great room”, is surrounded by abundant windows and glass doors allowing light to pour into the heart of this beautiful home. Lounging and gathering areas abound offering places to read, relax, play games, and gather in front of the fireplace or watch your favorite TV show on the 60" flat-screen TV. The living space flows to the dining area, which features a stunning, rustic modern chandelier. Full walls of built-in glass-door wood cabinetry surround the dining area. Additionally, the living area has multiple built-in shelves and display cabinets full of treasures and collections.
The gourmet kitchen with views of the verdant hillside and garden will satisfy the most discerning home chef and includes a Viking French door double oven; a second oven; Frigidaire full refrigerator and separate full-size freezer; a Thermador 6 burner gas stove; built-in microwave/convection oven. All expansive counters are Caesar Stone. A long kitchen bar provides ample seating for eating and gathering. A large butler’s pantry with abundant storage, an additional farm sink, and two dishwashers adjoins the kitchen and offers convenient access to the deck.
The living and dining area open to an immense wrap around deck with beautiful outdoor furniture and a 12-foot farm table and Tucci umbrella with cushioned benches that are dedicated to dining and entertaining, lounging, and endless appreciation of views and the natural landscape. Fruit trees and a vegetable garden are available for the renter's use.

Summary: The owner has done an amazing job decorating this house so you feel right at home and as if you’re at a 5 star hotel, only with so much more convenience, creature comforts and space. We loved that we were away from the congestion of the busy Sonoma Plaza. And yet when we wanted to go there for a meal, it was only a 10-12 minute drive down the hill. We also loved walking every day in the surrounding area of the house. Wineries were all around us with just a 10 to 15 minute drive to get to so many good ones! We loved cooking in the well appointed gourmet kitchen, lounging on the massive deck in the mornings with the newspaper and doing emails, and our family loved gathering around the large farm tables, both inside and outside, for meals and conversation. It was a treat to be able to pick herbs and vegetables from the garden, and I made the best gazpacho I’ve ever made in my life, mostly all from that garden! We had perfect weather and spent so much time out on the deck after wine tasting and hiking in those incredibly comfy rocking chairs, enjoying the tranquility of this place and the beautiful rolling hill views. Please thank the owner for leaving that chocolate chip cookie dough in the fridge for us as well, super yummy cookies! We all can’t wait to come back to the Sonoma Valley, best family vacation ever, and we will definitely rent this place again when we return
