Kamie Pomorski (Cammin), one of the oldest towns in West Pomerania, is an excellent location for a relaxing holiday or spa stay. The Dziwna (Dievenow), one of the three estuaries of the Oder, connects the town with the Baltic Sea and the Szczecin Lagoon.
In the summer months, boat trips are organised in the Bay of Cammin. Enthusiastic sailors, paddlers, windsurfers and kitesurfers enjoy the excellent wind conditions. International sailing events are also organised here. The modern yacht harbour with 240 moorings and three ship sheds for wintering boats is located directly in front of the old town.
The beautiful landscape can be easily explored by bike, for example towards the sea or to the nearby island of Chrzszczewska, which is nine square kilometres in size. On the small island of Gardzka Kpa there is a waterfowl reserve with breeding grounds for cormorants and grey herons.
Ducks and other waterfowl breed on the wet meadows near Dusino. Wolin (Wollin), the largest island in Poland, is well worth a visit. Visitors are fascinated by the rich flora and fauna of the Wolin National Park. The sea eagle, the symbol of this national park, also lives here. The local bison enclosure is a favourite destination for many visitors.
