Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location, location, location. It’s placed on a lovely side of a lake. With morning mist and sunrises it’s truly an amazing place. Rowing boat can be used to get on the lake and wind down. Its one private jetty gives a sense of serenity. Plus a nice wine in the fridge.

Negative: Service does not match the quality of the place. Amazing Fire place had two lighters both out of gas. Camera’s pointing into the property didn’t give much sense of privacy. No welcome pack info on how to use facilities. Only three coffee pods for three mornings stay for a couple. Plenty of flies inside and no fly swat or bug spray. Broken shower head which wasn’t addressed after reporting didn’t allow us to have a proper shower. But most of all lack of hot water on the first night. Despite the fact that the service team was organised immediately after reporting and have addressed the issue on the following day (which isn’t something you’d like to be dealing with on your 3 night stay); the property care taker offered no apologies for the lack of the essential service. For the price you pay for the property you can expect all to be top notch including the service should any problems arise.
