Summary: There were 3 thermostats in the room but the temperature was still a very chilly 16 degrees by 4am. The bathroom was even colder. When I told the clerk at checkout, she only asked me if I had turned the heat on...no apology. I like supporting private local establishments but won't be going back and certainly wouldn't recommend Stiles.

Summary: Service was reallly good.
Room, old and outdated. Lamp shade was healed together with tape.
Keurig was dirty, water (hot) came out brown and had some creature in it.
Bathroom, let’s just say I had a cowboy bath.
I would have liked to provide more positive feedback but the owners need to try a little harder, start by changing the lighting (fluorescent's are out, cheap running LED”s are in.

Summary: Hi all. This place was super. For a low budget motel, it was clean, roomy, clean bathroom and the young lady at the front desk was super. No, not a luxurious place but for the price, just awesome.

Summary: The staff were friendly and accommodating, the bed was really comfortable. And I was very happy with that!
The tv did not work in my room but I was too tired to mess with it, and I would have had to sit in in a wooden chair to watch it as I couldn’t aim it anywhere else in the room. The door lock was broken but the knob locked so at least I had some security.
To sum it up, my room was clean and comfortable and i was treated well, so that’s what I was there for as it was just one night. I’m happy with that.

Summary: This had a homey feeling. It was very clean. Had a funny smell when we first went in, but it left soon after. Could have been from the cleaning products. Was great for a 1 night stay.

Summary: Last minute week-long trip to Woodstock, wasn't much available in this price range so thought "how bad could it be?" 2 star, so didn't expect much, and still, the only thing going for this place is the location.
Arrived 10pm. Front desk area unstaffed, and about 35C. Eventually checked in after a 10 min wait, though the clerk seemed unfamiliar with her job. The room (29) so icky i didn't want to step on the floor without shoes; carpet ancient and nasty. Couch covered by a bedsheet. Bed really hard and uncomfortable. Supposedly the motel had been "renovated", and sure, fresh coat of inexpertly applied paint, a new a/c unit but not much else. Bathroom wallpaper held on with packing tape and/or painting tape, and they'd caulked over the bathtub mould. Very dark and dingy room. Ants. Switched rooms the next day, so a bit larger, a bit newer, carpet in better shape, and STILL not a comfortable room. No room darkening curtains, a musty smell from the carpet and furniture, and another uncomfortable bed. At least we had newer, non threadbare towels. After the 3rd night I'd finally had enough and we moved to the $$ Best Western in order to relax. We'd been gone almost all day, returned at 5p, and room still hadn't been cleaned (rooms were still being cleaned), yet it seemed the rooms available for rental that night done. Bizarre. Did not eat in the restaurant so no idea. In its heyday, Stiles quite upscale, no longer the case, i give it 1 star at best. Pictures from the 1st room.

Summary: Got there late. Room was dark: very few lights (bathroom light was not working). NO remote for TV. Asked front desk: who said they would be over in 10 minutes: after 30 Min, had to back to ask AGAIN; got a remote from another room, DID NOT work! Cable box did NOT work! Asked about talking to the owner, was told the owner lives in Ontario, has little to do with hotel. The "Manager" was the person who checked for another remote. Manager said NO refunds. No Recycling bins? Room was clean.
