This unique fully modernized 1,964 square foot home on a large lot with a view of the red rock mountains is located in a very quiet & natural area far from the often crowded streets of Sedona. Tastefully decorated & fully furnished with comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. Large recreation room with ping pong table and lots of books and games. Office in recreation room for those who have to work while on vacation. Your dogs are welcome on approval & the large backyard is fully enclosed for them. The second living room/recreation room is invaluable if you entertain out of town guests for more than 2 or 3 days. Walk out the master bedroom to your own private hot tub, perfect in the mornings with your coffee or after golf or racquet sports. We love star gazing from the hot tub in the evening. Plastic glasses provided for use in our hot tub. Wonderful front & back garden with lots of cacti, shrubs, trees and fresh herbs. Our back yard is set up for entertaining with bar, lots of patio furniture, putting green, bocce court & outdoor games. Fabulous hot tub off the master bedroom! Walk to the golf course, pickleball, tennis courts and park.
Lots of fun for everyone with backyard putting green, chipping area, checker board, bean bag toss & Bocce court. This house is a dream if you are a golfer, or a pickleball or tennis player since it is only a:
- 7 minute walk or quick drive to the gorgeous Oak Creek Country Club designed by both Robert Trent Sr. & Jr
- 6 minute drive to the Sedona Golf Resort which has some absolutely spectacular holes, is quite forgiving with wide fairways and has reasonable rates with a loyalty card and
- 7 minute drive to The Canyon Mesa Country Club, a pretty & inexpensive 9 hole executive course, plus pickleball courts;
- 4 minute drive to many wonderful restaurants, pubs, wine bar & shops.
Our home is part of a real community in the Village of Oak Creek which is 7.3 miles from Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in Sedona. Sedona itself has become quite challenged by large traffic volumes at certain hours. The Village does not have these traffic problems but it has all the amenities one would want such as a full gourmet grocery store, plenty of restaurants, art galleries a most amazing and fun indoor & outdoor bar called the ShadowRock Tap + Table where one can sit around small campfires and enjoy conversing and playing games such as pingpong, corn Hole, shuffleboard, darts & foosball. This is particularly great when the kids come to visit. It also has the very enjoyable Majestic Theatre. It has Las Vegas style seating & features live comedy, variety shows, musicals & concerts as well as classic movies.
Some of the best hikes in Sedona are minutes away by bike or car or one could even walk to the trailhead of the Bell Rock Trail. This is also the trailhead for one of the few moderate mountain bike trails in the Sedona area.
We are only a short drive to other areas such as old town in Cottonwood, Flagstaff for hiking and Prescott for their historic old town.
